Co-Founded SynBioBR, a premier organization for synthetic biology in Brazil, driving its mission to connect and empower the local ecosystem. Currently, as Executive Director, I lead the development and execution of initiatives to enhance community involvement and knowledge, reaching an audience of +1,500 individuals.
Worked on revitalizing community activities at Reclone.org, effectively reestablishing engagement efforts after more than a year of dormancy. Currently, as a Community Coordinator, I am responsible for organizing monthly gatherings with seminars from members of the network sharing about their work.
Founded the Global Alliance of SynBio Associations (SynBio Alliance), connecting and fostering collaboration among +15 organizations across all inhabited continents.
Established the OScA topic at iGEM, fostering projects to support synbio development in underrepresented communities, and promote open and citizen science.
Co-Founded Biotec Latina, a community of Latin American communities in biotechnology, sharing knowledge in "portuñol".
Spearheaded the iGEM Mentorship Program, pairing +100 teams with mentors to provide critical support and expert advice for their projects.
